Amazing Progress on the Tower Garden!
It's hard to believe when you look at the before and after of the Tower Garden. It's made such great progress -- and I thought at the beginning that I was going to be the only one in the history of Tower Gardens to be a failure! But actually, I think that they're fool proof! It was great fun to go out to pick the fresh lettuce from the Tower for our dinner salad.
I am already thinking ahead about what I can plant for the next season. I'm thinking strawberries, maybe some cukes, some squash, more chard, and tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes! We have an event at the near farmer's market where you can buy every kind of unusual tomato. And there are always more that I want to buy than I have space for...so it will be a treat this year to indulge my tomato mania a little more!
I flash froze all of those onions tonight, and I will put up a video tomorrow about that. It was a lot more work than I expected. So we will see how it goes!
And lastly, got a hair cut today. Whew! Just in time. I was beginning to think that I was going to have to wear a baseball cap permanently!
Tomorrow's going to be a good day! New haircut AND going to the nursery to buy spring plants for the front border! Woo hoo!
