Our New Tower Garden!

So, it's not completely done, but almost! The Tower Garden is a vertical aeroponics garden that allows you to grow 20 plants - flowers, herbs, vegetables...with just water and some nutrients. Aeroponics is the process of growing plants in an air or mist environment rather than soil. The Tower Garden uses water, liquid nutrients, and a soil - less growing medium, called rockwool, to provide beautiful herbs and veggies both indoors and out. While I have my Tower Garden outside, I can see that lots of people use the Tower Garden inside as well. And you can grown microgreens, in addition to herbs, chard, celery, just to name a few.

The assembly is not complicated - but I'm not great with gadgets, and Robert lives for them -- so it was good that I drafted him. Let's face it. I did nothing but record him. Oh, and I pulled up the video on YouTube that got us out of that wonky spot. Because, of course, Robert wouldn't read the directions.

I will have to do more research about the Ph testing and such, but I'm up for it. I'm not sure it's in exactly the right spot in the garden - but it's in the spot that gets the most sun. That was our major consideration.

Here's the link for more information.

So tomorrow I plant! (If it doesn't rain like cats and dogs!) I will update you!
